The Political Action Committee advances the Union’s political and advocacy goals at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
Responsibilities include:
- monitoring political issues affecting workers and the labour movement
- supporting endorsed campaigns or initiatives
- educating members on political issues and voting
- building relationships with labour-friendly organizations and representatives
