Obituary for Raymond Baker
On Saturday, January 16, 2010 Mr. Raymond Sydney Baker of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 66 years. Raymond is lovingly survived by his wife of 43 years: Nadene; three sons: Lee (Carmalee) Baker of Fort McMurray, AB, Mark (Nancy) Baker of Edmonton, AB, James (Tracy) Baker of Cold Lake, AB; three brothers: Robert (Joan) Baker of Saskatoon, SK, Ronald (Mathilda) Baker of Pierceland, SK, Roger (Sandra) Baker of Whitecourt, AB; three sisters: Rita (Fred) Dorner of Wilkie, SK, Roseanne (Randy) Abele of Edmonton, AB, Ruth Lebedoff of Saskatoon, SK; seven grandchildren: Nadine, Robert, Ardon, Rowan, Jenna, Alister, Dillon. Raymond was predeceased by his parents: Syd & Betty Baker; brother-in-law: Glen Lebedoff; nephew: Alan Baker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 20, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, AB. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pierceland Community Hall, Pierceland, SK with Reverend Tom Fehr officiating. Interment followed in the Pierceland Community Cemetery, Pierceland, Saskatchewan. Honorary pallbearers were the Cold Lake R. C. Flying Club Members and Four Wing Roads & Grounds Staff. Pallbearers were: Arnold Baker, Brian Sawatzky, Wanita Sawatzky, Wayne Sawatzky, Aaron Reitzel, Robert Parker.
