Local 2121 started with the Terra Nova FPSO and Hibernia Platform in 2006 under Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union (CEP). In 2013, Canadian Autoworkers Union and Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union all over Canada, merged to become Unifor.
