Each month, the Local 531 Unit Chair and President meet with the YYC Station Manager to discuss matters that impact our workplace. These meetings are an important opportunity to raise concerns, share feedback, and stay informed on any operational updates, upcoming events, or new initiatives. The goal of this monthly meeting is to maintain open lines of communication between union leadership and management, work collaboratively to address workplace issues, and ensure that member voices are heard and considered in station-level planning and decisions.
While these meetings are not grievance-related, they are a valuable way for the union to proactively bring forward patterns, concerns, or ideas that reflect the experiences of our YYC membership.
