Ramp Service Agents and Ramp Service Coordinators Integration

Share

We are thrilled to officially welcome the Ramp Service Agents and Ramp Service Coordinators in Calgary and Toronto to our local union!

As of March 1, the integration process is complete, and they will now begin to enjoy all the benefits that come with union membership and a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Being part of a union means having a strong collective voice in the workplace, access to fair wages and benefits, and the support of a dedicated community of workers who stand together. A special thank you goes out to Michael Baker, RSA in YYZ, and Ahmed Osman in YYC for their dedication throughout the integration process. Their hard work, knowledge, and advocacy on behalf of their peers have been instrumental in making this transition smooth and successful.

A copy of the updated collective agreement has uploaded to our website here.  The local union encourages all members to get to know your CBA as it outlines not only the company's responsibilities but your responsibilities in the workplace. Like all union members, the Ramp Service Coordinators and Ramp Service Agents are now are entitled to union representation in any investigative or disciplinary outcome meetings with the Company.  Only elected and trained workplace representatives can attend these meetings with you and your Unit Chair will make those arrangements.
