Today we reached a significant milestone in the history of our employment with
WestJet. The Bargaining Committee is proud to announce we reached a 92.5% vote in
favour of the Collective Agreement presented to the membership. The ratification of a
collective agreement is a significant accomplishment for a union and its members.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your dedication,
hard work, and commitment to achieving a successful ratification vote on our collective
agreement. Your participation in the bargaining process, your feedback, and your
support were critical to achieving this outcome, and we are incredibly grateful for all that
you have done.
This is a significant milestone for our workforce and it is a testament to the strength of
our collective voice and our ability to work together to achieve our goals. The ratification
of our collective agreement will provide many benefits to our members, including better
wages and benefits, improved working conditions, and more job security.
We want to assure you that your union leadership will continue to advocate for your
interests and work tirelessly to ensure that your rights are protected and your needs are
met. We will continue to work collaboratively with WestJet to ensure that the terms of
the agreement are fully implemented and respected.
