Sanjay Lewis
For the past three years, it has been a privilege to serve as your Above-the-Wing Workplace Representative at WestJet Toronto (YYZ). During this time, I have worked to ensure members have a voice, receive fair representation, and have someone they can trust for guidance and support. I am seeking re-election because I remain committed to advocating for our members. As our workplace continues to evolve, we need experienced and approachable representatives who will stand up for fairness, respect, and accountability while ensuring our Collective Agreement is applied consistently. Over the past three years, I have represented members in workplace matters, answered questions, and worked to improve communication between members and the union. I believe effective representation starts with listening, treating everyone with respect, and advocating without bias. If re-elected, I will continue to be accessible, transparent, and dedicated to serving every member. I will advocate for fair practices, stronger communication, and a respectful work environment. It has been an honour to serve you, and I would appreciate your support and your vote.

Over the past three years, it has been a privilege to serve as one of your Workplace Representatives. As a 14 year Westjet CSA, I’ve worked alongside many of you and understand both the rewards and the challenges of our job. Being part of the team that helped organize our successful unionization is one of my proudest moments here at Westjet. It wasn’t easy, but we stayed determined because we believed our voices deserved to be heard. That same commitment and drive continues to guide me today. Over the last three years, I’ve gained valuable experience supporting members, navigating our collective agreement, and working with union leadership to help protect our rights. Every conversation, every meeting, and every member I’ve had the opportunity to support has made me a stronger and more effective representative. If re-elected, I’ll continue to be someone you can approach with confidence. Someone who will listen, respect your confidentiality, and stand up for what’s right. My goal has always been to be a representative who is approachable, dependable, and committed to ensuring every member feels heard and supported. Thank you for your trust over the past three years. It has truly been an honour to serve as your Workplace Representative. I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue representing and advocating for all of us.

I want to sincerely thank those who nominated me for a second term as one of your Six(6) Above the Wing Union Representative. Your confidence and trust mean the world to me. A huge thank you to those completing their three(3) year term, like me, and thank you for your work and representing us fiercely and respectfully. To me, being a rep has been and is about much more than attending meetings if needed. It’s about the moments in between. It’s about being present, informed, confidential, approachable, and committed to supporting our local every day. As your current Trustee and a current Rep, I may not have been the representative assigned to your meeting, but I work alongside many of you every day. I make it a priority to stay informed, seek out answers when I don’t have them, and advocate for our members whenever I can. I believe representation doesn’t begin and end in the meeting room as it happens through the every day work, commitment and confidentiality. Some members have asked whether someone can serve as both a Trustee and a Union Representative. The answer is yes. Continuing as one of your reps does not take away from my responsibilities as Trustee. If anything, It allows me to continue serving our membership in a greater reach, as I do now. It would be a privilege to continue serving you for a second term as one of your six (6) ATW Union Representative. Thank you for your consideration, vote and support. Be well, Maria-José(MJ) Bouey
Marisa Girouard
Hi everyone, my name is Marisa Girouard, and I’m entering my 16th year with the company. I’ve had the opportunity to see WestJet grow from a much smaller airline into the company it is today. I’m a very grounded and approachable person, and I genuinely care about the people I work alongside every day. If I’m elected as one of your union representatives, my priority will be to listen first, support you, and help answer questions or provide clarification about our collective agreement. I believe communication is always key. I promise to keep it open, honest, and respectful.
