Women deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported—at work, at home, and in every part of their lives. Our Women’s Advocate is a confidential resource available to any member who needs someone to talk to, guidance navigating sensitive issues, or help connecting with professional support services.
What Is a Women’s Advocate?
The Women’s Advocate is a trained member who provides confidential support, information, and referrals for anyone experiencing:
Domestic or intimate partner violence
Harassment or abuse
Safety concerns at home or in the workplace
Situations that feel overwhelming or unsafe
Questions about available community or workplace supports
You do not need to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes you just need someone to listen—and that’s exactly what the Advocate is here for.
Confidential Support
Your privacy matters. Conversations with the Women’s Advocate are strictly confidential.
The Advocate will never share your information without your permission, except in very rare situations where safety laws require it.
You are in control of the process at all times.
How the Women’s Advocate Can Help
The Advocate can:
Listen without judgment
Provide emotional support
Help you explore options and next steps
Offer information about rights and resources
Connect you with community agencies, shelters, counseling, or legal supports
Help create a safety plan if needed
Advocate for accommodations or workplace supports when appropriate
You don’t have to navigate difficult situations alone.
