You’re Invited: Grand Opening of Your Union Office!
We’re thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of Unifor Local 531’s new union office—and you’re invited to be part of this exciting milestone! This isn’t just any office. This is your space. A place built with you in mind. A place to gather, connect, and strengthen the solidarity that makes our union strong.
Our new office is located on the arrivals level at the YYC airport, through a set of double doors next to the Marriott hotel entrance. Look for the balloons to find us! We will have a ribbon-cutting, refreshments, giveaways, and a chance to meet your union representatives!
Over the past year, we’ve worked hard to establish a dedicated local office to serve as a hub for all members. Whether you need support from a workplace representative, want to learn more about your rights, or simply want to sit down and talk union, this space is for you. Having a physical location marks a huge step forward in building our local’s presence, accessibility, and visibility. It gives us a place to host training, hold meetings, and offer one-on-one support. Most importantly, it reminds us that our union is more than policies and emails—it’s about people, relationships, and collective strength.
