As a constituent of Ward ___ who relies on commuting to Twin Oaks for (work/appointments) regularly, I’m very concerned about the situation that has been created since the closure of Banwell and Anchor Drive to accommodate the EV Battery Plant.
There was an incident where Twin Oaks was blocked and constituents working or visiting businesses in that area were not able to exit that area until the road was reopened, which took hours. This is a very big concern that has been predicted and raised.
In addition, the EC Row exit to Lauzon Parkway South is extremely dangerous and many accidents and close calls have occurred, and I am worried about my safety getting to and from work. We don’t have time to move three lanes over while traffic is travelling at a high rate of speed.
Even prior to the closure of Banwell, many commuters who rely on using the Lauzon Pkwy South to exit from EC Row to get to Twin Oaks, opted to use the Banwell and Anchor entrance to the area.
We need immediate action.
