The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has moved their upcoming public meetings in Edmonton and Calgary to larger venues to accommodate increased attendance. You can register HERE.
The CPPIB holds regular meetings across the country (usually 1 in each province at least every 2 years) to provide information and take questions from Canadians about their pension plan investments.
This year's CPPIB events in Alberta are getting far more attention than usual, given the provincial government's proposal to take Albertans out of the Canada Pension Plan.
These public meetings are a chance for workers and retirees to get accurate information about their CPP savings directly from the experts who manage the funds on their behalf.
