975 Social Committee

The Social Committee focuses on building community, strengthening solidarity, and creating opportunities for members to connect outside of the workplace.  Their work reminds us that union life is also about camaraderie, connection, and celebrating our shared achievements.  This Committee includes members from the general membership, various Local Officers, and Stewards.

This committee typically:

  • Encourages inclusive participation across all Units

  • Plans and hosts member events and celebrations

  • Helps foster a welcoming, supportive union culture

Have a suggestion for a social event that could bring our Local 975 community together? Share it with a member of the Social Committee — your ideas help shape our union’s spirit.
