CIF Update Regarding Job Evaluation

In June 2014, the CIF committee prioritized five classifications and one group for job evaluation (JE) as per Appendix I of the collective agreement. The designated classifications and group were: Data Operator, Help Desk Rep., Printer, Client Site Service Rep. (CSSR) I and II, and the Translations Group.

CIF Update February 2016

At the February CIF meeting the company provided an overview of the recent management changes in Network, Field Services, and Customer Operations / Experience. Tim Knolla attended as the new Director of Customer Care, and will be replacing Helena Cain as the Company representative for the Atlantic Customer Care Operations on the CIF committee.

It was decided at the December CIF meeting that the meeting format for future CIF meetings would focus primarily on both collective language in the current CA and possible new language for the next CA.

CIF Update Dec 2015

There were lengthy discussions regarding the format of the company / union meetings such as provincial joint consultative (JC), Bell Aliant joint consultative (BAJC) and the common interest forum (CIF). Those discussions included frequency, locations, attendees and format. Also the company provided the latest management structure changes as they relate to the Bell consolidation plan for Bell Aliant, and management involvement in company / union meetings.
